Audio Recordings

Our app uses your device's microphone (android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO) to record your spoken interview answers. Audio is recorded solely for the purpose of providing AI-powered feedback on your interview responses. Recordings are processed by our AI system and are not shared with third parties. We do not retain audio recordings after processing is complete.

Uploaded Documents

You may upload resumes and job descriptions to personalise your interview practice sessions. These documents are stored securely and used only to generate relevant interview questions for you.

Usage Data

We collect basic usage data such as interview session history, scores, and feedback results to help you track your progress over time.

4. Microphone Permission

The Interview Practice mobile app requests access to your device's microphone to record your spoken answers during mock interview sessions. This permission is used exclusively for this purpose.

You can revoke microphone access at any time through your device settings. Without microphone access, audio-based interview practice features will not be available, but you can still use other features of the app.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data with:

• AI providers — to process your audio and generate interview feedback (data is not retained by providers beyond processing)
• Cloud infrastructure — to host and operate our service securely
• Legal authorities — if required by law or to protect our rights

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and interview history for as long as your account is active. Audio recordings are deleted after AI processing is complete and are not stored long-term. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted storage of sensitive data, and secure authentication tokens. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
